START OF SEASON 2015
This was the type of game every team would want to start their season with. After winning the Toss Toronto Mavricks went on batting first.
Punjabi warriors's start couldn't have been better when impressive swing and seam bowling from Salman Nazar left Toronto Mavricks in trouble. Salman being the spearhead of the Punjabi warrior bowling attack rattled the Toronto Mavricks batting line-up, with his fierce pace and swing he took 5 wickets in his first 3 overs.
it was a treat to watch such spell. While salman was busy taking wickets on one end the other end was kept tight with steady pace bowling by Rajbir. Toronto Mavricks were starving for runs and kept loosing wickets at regular intervals.
THE MADDY MAGIC
one TM batsmen who managed to escape the furious spell of Salman, looked good after hitting one six and four to kuldeep bowling.
It was time for Mandeep to step up and take his chance. Looking confident he set his field up with "one fielder there, one there and one there".
someone from the stands shouted after his first no ball " Bees run marne hai esko ". BANG !! was the sweet sound of the ball hitting wickets made them silent very next ball. Taking 2 wickets in 2 balls Mandeep wrapped up TM innings at 69.
THE FINISH
The beauty of T25 game is its near impossible to predict what might happen. Keeping that in mind PWCC batsmen started their innings steadily but Raminder had some other plans, after watching the ball for few overs he started to cut and loose. He was hitting boundaries on will, finished on unbeaten 43.
PW reached their midget looking target in just 11 overs.
